Sampson introduces the Kente weaving style to Kafui. Every intricate pattern conveys a profound significance and message. Ghanaian culture intricately weaves meaningful messages into their artistry to commemorate crucial elements of existence. Distinctive motifs characterize Kente weaving.

Sheep Eye: This design is an oval created in many different colors. The design of the sheep eye symbolizes the sheep the ancestors used to sacrifice in the process of enstooling their chief.

 

The Chief Stool resembles a rectangle on its end with the sides caved in, akin to the top of a small stool with a wide base, symbolizing the seat of a chief.

 

Zor Megbe Megbe (Walk Backwards): In those days the forefathers would walk backwards to confuse their enemies of their footstep patterns.  

Step to the Lowlands:  This design showcases steps that lead to the lowlands in the village.

Sugar Cube: when our forefathers first experienced sugar in a block form arriving from the Gold Coast to the village it was wonderful to them, therefore it was documented in a waving pattern
